Julien Cruchandeau Bouzeron ‘Massale’ 2018
Deep, rich and dense with concentrated confit apple acidity, honey and cinnamon spicy. Great body, opulent and fresh. Classic minerality gives it length and purity. And the complexity...you'd think it's a chablis premier cru!
Domaine Oudin Chablis 2017
Classic sweet river rock minerality and floral freshness, this is a meticulous perfectionists’ Chablis ‘tout-court’ (as the locals call the ‘village’ appellation). This wine is at its peak now and will remain there for another 3-4 years. A lovely introduction to the Domaine Oudin style.
Domaine Borgeot Bourgogne Blanc 'Clos de la Carbonade' 2018
This regional wine hails from the village of Bouzeron, on a special but small parcel owned by the nonpareil winemakers of Domaine Borgeot. These brothers are most famous for their village and 1er cru wines from Burgundy's "golden triangle" in the Côte de Beaune, but this village wine from Côte Chalonnaise is not to be missed. Don't be fooled by its modest pedigree!
Domaine Félix Saint Bris 2018
Fresh and lively, with notes of citrus and the famous gooseberry. Bold attack and vivacious mid-palate, fruity and herbaceous.
Domaine Jean Fery Bourgogne ‘Les Montatines’ Blanc 2017
Pure deep fruit, rounded with just enough oak to make your mouth water. Floral and citrus, but mouth-filling and long.
Château de Vergisson Saint Véran 'La Côte Rôtie' 2018
In ‘La Cote Rotie’, Saint-Veran gets serious. The vineyard is situated at the base of the Vergisson rock, so there’s no lack of limestone, which brings with it finesse and subtlety in the nose, and a rich, lemony, mouth-watering saline fruit which is carried on and on to an elegant mineral finish.
