DOMAINE THIERRY MORTET CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY 1ER CRU ‘BEAUX BRUNS’ CASE
This is straight from the horse's mouth...meaning, cut and pasted from the the Elden Selections' website:
"Les Beaux Bruns’ is a premier cru vineyard on the lower slopes of the eastern part of Chambolle-Musigny, right in the mouth of the Combe de Chambolle. The Domaine Mortet produces about 1200 bottles there a year. This one is slow to age. Buy it for laying down and your patience will be rewarded. ‘Beaux Bruns’ is structure and length, but with great finesse. Suave in its attack, it builds to a powerful finish."
We have some 2013 that's drinking beautifully right now, that will keep you happy while you wait for the 2018s to come around. Shop around. 'Beaux Bruns' with age and from a good producer top $200 a bottle, no problem. But at Elden selections, we buy them to age them,
with the intention to give you, the loyal insiders, the advantage.
Classy wine, coming to be.
