Jean Jacques Girard Meursault Charmes 1er Cru 2022
Meursault 'Charmes' shows first and foremost, the elegance and complexity of the Meursault terroir. A brilliant golden hue, hints at depth and richness. The nose is a symphony of aromas, where notes of baked apples and ripe pears mingle with toasted almond and hazelnut. On the palate, Meursault 'Charmes' shows remarkable balance between opulence and precision. The full-bodied nature of the wine is complemented by a vibrant acidity that imparts freshness, preventing the richness from becoming overwhelming. The mouthfeel is creamy and luxurious, and a subtle mineral undertone that says Burgundy. A judicious use of oak gives the wine texture, structure and complexity. The finish is long, a lingering impression of both the fruit and the well-integrated oak.

Jean Jacques Girard Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Referts' 2022
The bouquet is white flowers, acacia, and honeysuckle. Beneath the floral notes, there is a subtle note of ripe orchard fruits, juicy pear and golden apple. This 'Les Referts' is a perfect balance between opulence and precision, with a creamy texture that envelops the palate. The orchard fruits noted on the nose are there again on the tongue, translated seamlessly. The hallmark minerality of Puligny-Montrachet is all over 'Les Referts.' A distinct flinty character, like wet stones, adds a layer of complexity, providing a structural backbone to the wine. This minerality serves as a counterpoint to the luscious fruit, harmonious and multi-dimensional. Bright acidity, refreshing and lively, with an overall vibrancy. enhances the fruit and leads to a lingering, mouth-watering finish.
Jean Jacques Girard Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru 'Sous Fretilles' 2022
On the nose, white floral notes, citrus fruits, green apple, pear, hints of stone fruits, nuanced and delicate. A distinct mineral character that speaks to the great whites of the Corton mountain, with good acidity. A lively, freshness that also hints at aging possibilities. The balance in fruit and acidity gives this Sous Fretilles great structure, and a touch of oak brings that structure to a long and elegant finish.
