LEFT VS RIGHT BANK 2019 CHABLIS 6-PACK
Left Bank, Right Bank...and in between
Here's a veritable tour of Chablis 1er Cru 'terroir' from the dusty dryness of Cote de Lechet to the full round ripeness of Fourchames with stops in between at Montmains and Vaillons. Real Chablis pedigree.
Here's a recent video of me presenting this very tasting:

And it's a great subject. Left Bank Chablis vs Right Bank.
The River Serein runs through the Chablis valley. Wines from the left bank are more mineral and fresh; wines from the right bank are rounder and opulent.

Jean Dauvissat Pere et Fils Chablis 1er Cru ‘Fourchaume’ 2019
Fourchaume is the best known of the Chablis premier crus, perhaps because it is an extension of the Grand Cru vineyards, and benefits from a similar Right Bank exposition. Round, mature fruit, crystalline purity, sweet, lemony acidity classic cool river rock minerality. A classic Chablis premier cru.
Jean Dauvissat Pere et Fils Chablis 1er Cru ‘Cote de Lechet’ 2019
A classic Cote de Lechet, about as mineral as Chablis can be. This premier cru Cote de Lechet is a model of Left Bank precision, razor sharp, with juicy, mouth-watering acidity. A characteristic floral attack and gun-flint smokiness fill the mid-palate, and the finish is bright berry fruit and long, long minerality.
