Domaine de Cromey is the Burgundy home of burgundywine.com, whose work with Burgundy wines and producers spans more than three decades.
The estate’s own vineyard, Le Clos, is a seven-acre walled parcel, wholly owned by the Domaine de Cromey, that was replanted in 2019 after more than 70 years without vines. It lies high in the Cote de Couchois and is planted with two-thirds Chardonnay and one-third Pinot Noir. The resulting Bourgogne Blanc 'Le Clos' Monopole and Bourgogne Rouge 'Le Clos' Monopole express Cromey’s own corner of Burgundy: a higher, cooler site and a vineyard brought back to life. The cutting-edge Domaine AMI handles viticulture and winemaking in partnership with Cromey.
Alongside those estate wines, Cromey has become a micro-négociant. Drawing on relationships with small Burgundy domains that burgundywine.com has been working with, sometimes for generations, it selects limited quantities of both high-quality everyday drinking wines and exciting insider Burgundy appellations, and bottles them under the Cromey label.
New Releases from Domaine de Cromey
Several exciting additions to the Domaine de Cromey label have recently arrived in the US. These new wines capture the spirit and diversity of Burgundy. Their addition complements the existing range—including multiple vintages from the monopole Bourgogne Rouge and Blanc from Le Clos, and Beaune 1er Cru Champimonts—and offer something for every occasion, from celebratory sparkling wines to everyday whites and a very versatile rosé.
