Domaine Borgoeot Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2018
Domaine Borgeot is famed for his white wines, however there is quality to be discovered in his Red Burgundies too. I especially love starting with this and moving into his village and 1er Cru so please click the link below to check out the recommendation bottles. The 2018 added depth into the wine but this still shows the lightness and purity of a pure pinot, perfect for spring or summer.

Domaine Michel Arcelain Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2018
Michel Arcelain is an impressive man! He lives in Pommard and the grapes for this wine come from the commune of his home village. He is 80+ years old with a lifetime of vintages under his belt and in his cellar. He works with his talented grandson Pierre Andre who is starting to also have a guided influence in the wines. His wines are super elegant and built to last so the 2016 is very nice with some tertiary notes coming through.

Domaine Félix Bourgogne Côte d'Auxerre Rouge 2018
We are giving you a wine from Northern Burgundy. This region (famous for Chablis) has always been valued, many agree that whilst maintaining its typicity the region's red wine has benefitted from the slight warming in temperature. Domaine Félix is an award winning vigneron, pushing the quality of the region. The winery is based in the village of Saint Bris, the home of Burgundian Sauvignon Blanc!!

Domaine Marchand Frères Bourgogne Cote dÓr Rouge Cuvee Eline 2018
Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, these are world-class reds from the Côte de Nuits. Burgundian winemakers who have been at it for generations often produce AOC Bourgogne that reminds you of the village wine where the domain is based. It makes sense, really: older domains are likely to have their vineyards circled close to home. This Domaine Marchand Freres Bourgogne fools you at first. We tend now to think of them as being based in Gevrey-Chambertin. But that is fairly recent. The domain’s roots are in Morey-Saint Denis. And when you taste this Bourgogne, that’s what you taste. A little Morey Saint Denis. Remarkable.

Domaine Jean Jacques Girard Bourgogne Rouge 2018
Based in Savigny-les-Beaune in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Jean-Jacques Girard's family has been making wine in the Savigny-les Beaune valley for 500 years, so it's not surprising to find that his regional appellation Bourgogne Rouge drinks like a little Savigny. Blackcurrant freshness, a touch of earth subsoil, a supple, easy structure and bull's-eye line on through the whole from the attack to the finish.

Domaine Jean Maréchal Bourgogne Rouge 2017
Wines from one of the top producers in Mercurey, the most famous village of the Côte Chalonnais, with lots of different terroirs. Mercurey is often described as Burgundy in miniature. Assembled from wine from two different parcels of appellation Bourgogne that are situated in the limits of Mercurey, you could call this a ‘little Mercurey’, the terroir and black fruits so resemble the village appellation. Severe pruning limits the yields (45hl/ha) reinforces the deep Pinot character of the fruit.
