Domaine Marchand Freres Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2020
Deep ruby red, with complex nose of cherry and fresh almond. Plump and ample wine with silky tannins and a finish on licorice and blackcurrant. New oak, so be prepared to let this one sit. But it will be worth it!

Jean-Jacques Girard Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2020 (white)
Every Corton-Charlemagne is different. It bears the mark of its producer. We can think of no other Grand Cru, white or red, that has such range and depth. You understand this viscerally once you have stood at the summit of the Corton mountain: the sweep of exposition, the tumble of the slope, the changing color of the soil. Jean-Jacques Girard's Charlemagne is impeccable, with a nose of elegant complexity of honey, nuts and flowers, soft fruits and citrus. There's power in the attack, but the finish is mineral, suave and long. 

Capitain-Gagnerot Clos Vougeot 'Quartier de Marei Haut' Grand Cru 2019
With over 120 acres planted and around 50 producers, the Clos Vougeot is the largest single grand cru (if not largest vineyard!) in Burgundy.  Because of its deep roots in Burgundian tradition, the walled-in Clos has always been considered an integral whole.  But of course it is not. Only certain sections actually merit Grand Cru status. So let the buyer beware! So we are pleased to tell you that the small parcel that Maison Capitain owns is in the heart of the very best zone, touching on Grands Echezeaux (on the other side of the wall!). Capitain Clos Vougeot is true Clos Vougeot.
