As most of you know, we have known Pascal Borgeot for a long time.
So as his Santenay Vieilles Vignes 2020 arrives in our US cellars, we are reminded that we have held this particular wine as a benchmark Pinot Noir for 35 years... ...since we first tasted it back in the 1985 vintage.

We drank it with gusto back then...
A lot of it!!
So here, to celebrate an anniversary of sorts, is the Domaine Borgeot Santenay 'Vieilles Vignes' 2020
A vintage much like that 1985. Lush, ripe, explosive black fruit. Deep, dark and smoky Red Burgundy like you dream it should be.
